Valuations

A valuation is not a survey. It is a limited inspection to identify problems which might affect its value, and hence the security of any loan or mortgage, for example.

Generally the purpose of a Valuation is to provide an opinion of the price a property might achieve if it were sold. We would visit the property and note its condition, size, location and aspects of construction which are readily observable on a walk-round inspection. We would then establish its market value.

We can carry out valuations for a variety of purposes, but no longer undertake valuations for lending or other commercial purposes.  This can include Valuations as part of a house purchase survey; for Matrimonial purposes; independent assessments of Market Value where not to be used for commercial, equity or lending purposes; etc.
